‘KARE GARDENS’<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Community gardens are typically \u201cpublic land owned by the government or non-profit associations. They are occasionally privately owned and function as businesses\u201d.\u00a0 You will find them in all locations- urban, suburban and rural. Sometimes they are collectively gardened with a shared<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>CITY OF RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA<\/strong><\/p>\n

Provides a place for individuals to come together to learn tecniques of gardening while making a new friend tending to the organic garden<\/p>\n

There are seven existingCommunity Gardens in Richmond with more planned for the future:<\/p>\n

  2. \u00a0Gilbert Road, at the south end of Gilbert Road<\/li>\n
  3. \u00a0East Richmond, at the north end of King George Park along Cambie<\/li>\n
  4. \u00a0Garret Wellness Centre, 7540 Chelsea Place<\/li>\n
  5. \u00a0Steveston, at Railway Ave. and Brunswick Dr.<\/li>\n
  6. \u00a0City Center, at Paulik Neighbourhood Park<\/li>\n
  7. \u00a0Richmond High School (Seniors Only)- Moffatt Road<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
