‘KARE GARDENS’

We were able to help people set up and maintain their own gardens, as well as, createand help out in community gardens. By doing this many children learned how to grow their own food and plants, in addition to the importance of green spaces.

We were also able to help some youth bridge gaps in their community by helping their neighbors maintain their gardens, lawns and yards.  Some even went on to become entrepreneurs by starting up a little lawn cutting business – helping with a real sense of accomplishment and independence.
